Crossover Event Information
Hello,
After a 3 year absence, The Crossover, is back! Kababayan club and the Chinese Association at UCI are co-hosting a 5-on-5 Basketball Tourney entitled The Crossover on May 27-28, 2006 at the Anteater Recreation Center (ARC) in Irvine, and you all are personally invited.
We have 3 leagues:
1. Above the Rim (8 teams) - a competitive league of male players that are 6'3 and above.
2. Below the Rim (16 teams) - a league of male players that are 6'2 and below (no players 6'3 and above will be allowed to play in this league).
3. Womens (8 teams) - for teams of all females.
Players must be current college students from any university or college. Sorry, no alumnis. Both the "Above the Rim" and "Below the Rim" leagues cost $140 per team, and the "Womens" league costs $120 a team. There will be trophies and t-shirts for the winners and t-shirts for the runnerups for each league. Sign-up fast to guarantee your spot! Early registration deadline is Monday, May 22 (less than a week and a half away). After the 22nd, we will accept late registration for the tournament until Thursday, May 25.
